1. Will doesn’t die, but Tessa marries Jem, who finds a cure. (Even though we all know how much she loves Will) So Will has to watch the woman he loves be with his best friend.
2. Will sacrifices his life so Jem can live.
3. Will becomes Brother Zachariah. This means he lives forever. So does Tessa. But they both have to live forever, but cannot be together.

Yeah, I can’t live with any of these. I’ve never wanted a couple to be endgame SO BADLY. Will and Tessa are killing me.
Maybe the Iron Sister that helped perform the ritual when you are born is Tessa. Maybe thats the reason Fray is close to Gray. That would also mean Tessa is part shadowhunter though and I don’t really have any explaination for that. While I’m talking about theories, I think Brother Zachariah is either Will or Jem. When Clary asks him if he has ever been in love, he replies with “Two people”. That can easily apply to both of them since they both love Tessa and each other in a brotherly way.
